As Las Vegas is known for being the Entertainment Capital of the World, more famously nicknamed Sin City, it’s only expected that visitors from all over the globe flock here. From day to night, they town is stuffed with numerous leisure activities of all sorts, from its renowned mega-casinos, to its countless theatres and live performances, to its frenzied night life, to its theme parks and plenty more. And it’s not just a grown-up’s world here as there are many family-friendly and non-gaming hotels around.
The Las Vegas Strip
The famous Las Vegas Strip has it all: The swankiest restaurants, the biggest casinos, the best entertainment, and the grandest hotels. Many of the big name hotels are home to famous casinos, like The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, the Bellagio, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, and many other extravagant first-class hotels. Luxury hotels are definitely abundant on The Strip, as each of Las Vegas 5 star hotels has its own signature look, each striving to be grander and more magnificent than the next.
The Strip is also host to a plethora of of the most high-end and vibrant nightclubs, for example Blush, Tao, and several others. But it’s not just all about partying at The Strip as there are many family-fun activities available, not to mention countless entertainment and performances. There is, for example, the famous Fountains of Bellagio, the amusing Mystere, the stunning Cirque de Soleil, and many others.
Downtown Las Vegas
Just minutes away from The Strip, Downtown Las Vegas has many smaller hotels, and several hotel-casinos. But not to be completely outdone by the sought-after Las Vegas Strip, there are an array of activities and leisure in this spot too targeted to all. Thought jam-packed with many places of interest and organizing many events, there are fewer first-class hotels and night spots here.
Boulder Strip
For those seeking a possibly quieter holiday away from the hustle and bustle of The Strip, there is the Boulder Strip. There are less five-star hotels here, thought there are several luxury hotels here, offering everything from family leisure, to casinos, to calm getaways. As any typical Las Vegas venue, there is constant entertainment and activities, though those seeking a more party-like scene may not enjoy the lack of nightclubs here.
Other areas
There are many other hidden gems and attractions outside of the dense areas of Las Vegas. There is, for example, The Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas at Henderson. This golf and spa resort is located a distance from the city centre, offering a more tranquil travel experience in the city.
